2. The Service
CasingLab is an online platform that helps candidates prepare for consulting interviews through AI-powered case interviews, scored feedback, drills, online tests, and learning content. The Service is provided for personal, educational use.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.
4. Subscriptions, billing and payments
Paid plans are sold on a subscription basis by Kartese Formation. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.
- Prices are shown at checkout and include applicable taxes (VAT) where required. We may change prices for future billing periods with prior notice.
- You can cancel at any time. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share, resell, or provide your account access to others;
- scrape, copy, or redistribute case content, exhibits, scoring output, or learning materials;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
6. No guarantee of outcomes
CasingLab is a practice and preparation tool. We do not guarantee any interview outcome, job offer, test result, or score. AI feedback and scoring are generated automatically and may contain errors; they are guidance, not professional advice and not an evaluation by any consulting firm. CasingLab is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, or any other firm referenced for practice purposes.
7. Intellectual property
All content, software, and materials in the Service are owned by Kartese Formation or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own preparation. Content you submit (e.g. your answers) remains yours; you grant us a licence to process it to provide the Service.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kartese Formation is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
