1. Controller

2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, password (hashed), and profile/onboarding details you provide.
- Waitlist data: if you join our pre-launch waitlist before having an account, the email (and any optional name or target firm) you submit so we can notify you when the Service opens.
- Practice data: your interview transcripts, typed and spoken answers, drill and test responses, scores, and progress.
- Voice: when you use voice mode, your audio is sent for transcription and is not retained as audio beyond what is needed to produce the transcript.
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, device and log information.
- Payment data: handled by our payment processor (see below); we do not store your full card details.
3. How we use your data
- to provide the Service (run interviews, generate feedback, track progress);
- to operate your account and process subscriptions;
- to improve and secure the Service;
- to communicate with you about the Service;
- to notify you about availability if you joined our waitlist.
4. Legal bases (where GDPR applies)
We process data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), on the basis of our legitimate interests (improving and securing the Service), to comply with legal obligations, and with your consent where required.
5. Processors & third parties
We share data only with the categories of service providers that help us run the Service:
- Hosting, authentication & database providers: store your account and practice data.
- AI & speech processing providers: process your interview content to generate the interviewer's responses, feedback and transcripts.
- Payment processor (Stripe): processes payments and invoicing.
These providers may process data outside your country; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses). A detailed list of providers is available on request at support@casinglab.com.
6. Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, unless a longer retention is required by law. If you joined the waitlist without an account, we keep your email only until launch and our first contact with you, then delete it; you can ask us to remove it at any time.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@casinglab.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you joined our waitlist, you can withdraw your consent and be removed at any time by emailing us.
8. Cookies
We only use essential cookies, strictly necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics cookies in the future, we will ask for your consent first where required.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be notified in-app or by email.
